Order Of Service

Psalm 137:3-6
3. For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
4. How shall we sing the LORD’s song in a strange land?
5. If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
6. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

Topic Points: Adapt Your Worship

Point 1 – Keep Singing
Even if you can’t sing traditional songs, find new ways to express your faith through music or other forms of worship.

Point 2 – Praise Him in every circumstance
Remember that God is worthy of praise in all situations, not just the good ones. Praise Him for His strength, His plan, and His presence, even when you don’t understand.
(Find new avenues for praise)

Point 3 – Serve others
Join a church ministry or find other ways to serve. Serving God and others is a form of praise.

Point 4 – Pray and seek
Continue to pray, seek God, and ask for His guidance. These actions are powerful ways to praise Him and seek His will.

Point 5 – Live a life of faith
Your actions and behavior in this new land can serve as an example of your beliefs and can help bring healing and consciousness to the land.
(Hold on to your faith)

Point 6 – Remember who God is
Praise should not be dependent on your location, but on the unchanging character of God and what He has done.

Point 7 – Praise for His deliverance
Remember that God has delivered you and will continue to deliver you. Hold onto the hope of His continued deliverance in your life.
